It would be very nice if we could use airplay
A way to let the music out on airplay? I want a button to choose speakers/room like I have on the spotify app on Iphone and on the Ipod app.

Installed the three components tonight. Easy to search and play from my iPad to a MacBook Pro. You have to use your logon for Spotify Premium. I tried first with my Facebook logon but it failed. It’s a amazing stuff. Thx!
Airplay would be the deal breaker for me.!!!
I like the app, for the future i would like support for portrait mode.
I would like to choose my AirPort Extreeme as output unit.
This app is the worst thing i ever bought in the iTunes store. First of all it is not clear that there is playlist support ONLY for Spotify Premium users. Secondly there is no volume control as seen in the Spotify application. Thirdly there is no shuffle option which would make a playlist less needed. Fourthly even if you have searched for an album you cannot even skip to the next number in the album. I have never been disappointed more when buying an app and hope that you can refund my 2,39 EUR. Thank you for your reply.
I’m sorry to hear you are having problems with Spot Remote. It is a very popular application and it works well for a majority of users.
1) It says twice in the app description that playlists are premium only.
2) There is a shuffle option. Press the coverart in “Now Playing” to get more playback options, just like the Spotify iPhone client.
3) The button “Play album” is broken, because of an update from Spotify. I have fixed the issue, but I’m waiting for Spotify to give me a “ok” before I can release it.
If you are somewhat technical, and are able to install apps manually on your iPhone I can send you the update via email. Please email axel@spotremote.com
If this doesn’t sound good to you, please press “Report a problem” in the Appstore to request a refund from Apple, as they are the resellers and they have to take care of refunds

A lot of people have an iPad or iPod docked to their stereo. It would be great if you can control the docked iPad/Pod/Pad from another iPad/Pod/Pad. This would be the biggest improvement you could make…
Probably not possible, due to Apple restrictions, but hope you can find some solution.

This is quite possible in two ways, either via jailbreaking your device – but it would be much of a hack to control playlists.
The other way is to create a third party spotify client for iOS that can be controlled via the network. This might also be quite buggy, since the wifi gets turned off when the device goes to sleep. But I’m looking in to it (it’s a big project)

Har försökt att installera spotremote server och SIMBL flera gånger men det går inte. Det skapas bara en mapp men inget händer oavsett vad jag har försökt med innehållet i dessa. Det ska ju funka med snow leopard eller senare och jag har senaste versionen av Lion.

First off, i’d like to thank you for t’he great you job you did with this app.
Now, i’ll try to explain the problem i’m experimenting with the app.
At the time you put a song in queue, the song takes position just after the song that it’s being played, and I think that would be better that the song takes the position at the end of the playlist…
It would be great, to have a screen to check the queue list on the phone.
